Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence (DW/BI). We have built numerous data warehouses, data marts and operational data stores for use by the major Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms including SAP BW, Business Objects, COGNOS, MicroStrategy and SAS.
ETL Development. AdvancedBA has worked closely with various ETL vendors such as Informatica, SAP and IBM, and we have implemented projects that leverage Informatica’s PowerCenter, IBM’s Information Services (Data Stage) and SAP’s Data Integrator. We recently sent several of our most senior Architects to attend the latest technical training for these products.
SAP Business Warehouse. We have assisted many clients in expanding the use of Informatica PowerCenter for their SAP data migration, consolidation and history conversion efforts. A significant aspect of these engagements has been the development of a data model for each client that allows the integration of data from scores of disparate source systems including SAP. The resulting consolidated SAP BW environment provides a single unified reporting and BI solution rather than the many that would be required otherwise.
Master Data Management (MDM). AdvancedBA has assisted many clients in establishing a robust and accurate platform for their organization’s master data. Our MDM engagements bind master data to a variety of business applications, leveraging integration services to acquire, transform and deliver master data in real time throughout the enterprise. We develop relevant business processes, application software, and the technical integration infrastructure required to create and maintain accurate, up-to-date and consistent views of core business entities across disparate systems in the enterprise.
Data Governance. Our Data Governance engagements begin by assisting in the definition and ramp-up of Enterprise Data Governance and Stewardship organizations, and standards and procedures to ensure consistency and conformance of enterprise data throughout the solution. We then build data management processes into the IT architecture from each application and to each data warehouse and data mart to ensure a single view of the enterprise synchronized at each desired snapshot point.
